About the Role

As a Companion Animal Veterinarian, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality care and building strong relationships with our clients and their pets.
  • Offering consults, diagnostics, surgery and treatment plans for a variety of cases.
  • Working collaboratively within our team of experienced veterinarians and nurses.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 2 years of practical experience in companion animal practice.
  • Is a confident communicator who can connect with both clients and colleagues.
  • Is a self-motivated, team player who thrives in a supportive environment.

What We Offer

  • Flexible Working Hours: Many of our veterinarians work a four-day week, with options for part-time days, full shifts, and flexible hours.
  • Shared Afterhours: We share afterhours between the team with a separate large and small animal roster— with each of our vets just averaging 3 nights on call per month! Plus, we use the VetChat triage system for added support.
  • Work-Life Balance: Located in the beautiful Marlborough region, you’ll have access to beaches, scenic walks, mountain biking, and ocean adventures, alongside great cafés, restaurants, wineries, and craft breweries.
